The right foods will help you speed up your recovery. You will need to make sure that you follow a diet that is high in protein. Fish, poultry, eggs, lentils, and beans are filled with protein.
Fiber is another nutrient that you will need to make sure that you are getting plenty of. Whole grains, nuts, and seeds have fiber in them. You should get 25 to 35 grams of fiber per day.
Drink Lots of Water
If you are dehydrated, then more damage will be done to your muscles. It will also be harder for you to heal if you are dehydrated. The best beverage for you to drink is pure water. You can also add lemon slices or orange slices to your water.
