When people are exploring hospice care, whether for themselves or loved ones, an array of questions often springs into fruition. Many people who are in this weakened state are no longer able to bathe or shower themselves. Therefore, the hospice nurses help them to accomplish that task. They recognize this process can prove embarrassing for the patients, and they work with an utmost level of care. At this stage in life, individuals are not always able to take care of themselves the way that they used to, whether due to diminished physical or mental capacity.
