Knee pain may develop after overworking or over-exercising. Chiropractic has come a long way in treating Knee Pain and many people are turning to this form of treatment over more traditional methods.

Our Knees are shock absorbers taking the strain between the weight of the body above and the ups and down of the terrain below and it is essential that we protect this very important joint with common sense.

If the knee pain is due to over training then you need to take breaks and maybe alternate days and never work through pain; no pain no gain must not be applied here!!!! Drink plenty of clean water, eat lots of fresh fruits and vegetables , and eat foods high in EFA(Essential Fatty Acids), vitamin D, and calcium to decrease inflammation, reduce knee pain and promote overall joint heath.

Correct posture when working or working out will go a long way towards minimizing knee pain and overall discomfort. Also, our feet support and carry us and believe it or not, the type of shoes you wear not only affect the feet but it affects legs and knees as well; help your whole body by choosing good supportive shoes.

Knee pain is not fun and not something you want to ignore. Follow the tips above and schedule a visit with a chiropractor to help you.
