Our facility is state-of-the-art; you will feel energized as soon as you walk in. We have two different floors, one for our junior students and one for our senior students. Both floors are set up like actual salons and you will be trained at the reception area as well as customer service.
After a short period you will be on the Junior Floor, learning on real people, not just fake heads with hair. After approximately four months, you will transfer to the Senior Floor. Cosmetology Wichita has numerous returning clienteles, many of which let you decide what to do; you can let your hands be the guide. You may already know what you would like to specialize in (cut, color, nails, make-up, etc.) although while you are here, at Hair Design School Wichita, you will be introduced to other avenues which may suite you better.
After completion of the program, and upon receipt of your license, we will help guide you on building a portfolio, how to present to perspective employers and what range of salaries you can expect, depending on what you want to specialize in. We will also guide you on how to start thinking about opening a boutique of your own; if that is something you are interested in.
