Try These Options for Hair Removal to Remove Unwanted Hair

If you deal with excess and unwanted hair on your face or anywhere on your body, you will be interested in what some hair removal options are out there for you.  Let’s look at three of these options right now.

One great option for hair removal is laser/pulsed light.  When you choose laser hair removal, energy goes down through the hair shaft down to the follicle and destroys the root of the hair.  Many times the hair does not immediately fall out during a laser treatment instead it weakens and falls out over time because the root has been destroyed.  If you are willing to wait a little bit for the hair to fall out then laser hair removal may be the thing for you.  Because the hair is destroyed at the root, there is less of a chance that the hair will grow back.  It may be worth the wait if you don’t have to deal with the hair growing back over and over again.  Laser hair removal will typically take up to 5 to 7 sessions to get rid of all your unwanted hair.  You may have to go back for touchups about once a year.

Electrolysis is another good option for effective hair removal that many people choose to use.  Electrolysis destroys the cells that cause the hair to grow.  This type of hair removal is permanent and it releases the hair and it slides right out.  This system of hair removal can take up to 25 sessions however and can therefore become quite costly.  If you have the money, I say go for it, but if money is an issue for you, you may want to try a different method of hair removal.  It’s basically up to you and what you can afford as to which type of hair removal method you choose.

Lastly Vaniqa is also a good option for hair removal.  This is a topical prescription cream that works by blocking an enzyme that would otherwise stimulate hair growth.  Without this enzyme hair growth is slowed down quite a bit and may even stop after some time.  You can use this method in conjunction with laser hair removal treatments to keep the hair that was removed from growing back.  This hair removal method can take up to 6 to 8 months to take effect.   The longer the cream is used, the better your results will be.  This type of hair removal is really good for unwanted hair on your face such as on your lip, chin and cheeks.  It is not recommended for hair removal on large areas because of the cost of the product.
